We especially encourage attendance by people whose measures have been defeated. Defeating a measure is never the end of it. Make them feel more pain!
When we refer to districts on the call and below, we mean not only school and college districts, but also cities, counties, and other special districts.
We presume that you are attending because of a local measure that was on your ballot. It does not matter whether the measure is winning or losing. While our focus is on the 267 school bonds that were submitted to the voters, the means are likely effective for any local measure, but especially tax measures.
Gather the following materials to the best of your ability:
None of this is required for the call, however, you will likely benefit more if you have collected these materials in advance.
We will be referring to material that is already on the web. In order for you to get the most from the call, please be at your computer and on the landing ("No on Measure") page of the measure that interests you most. The landing page is heavily linked, so you can quickly jump to anything we refer to on the call. All landing pages can be accessed from our home page in two clicks.
There are lawful means, after an election, that an individual can use to hold bad actors accountable. We will go over those means on the teleconference. We are certain that there is at least one that you don't even know exists.
The purpose of holding this call is to provide you with a set of options that you may wish to pursue against individuals who have participated in the fraud that the Elections Code refers to as "Measures Submitted to the Voters."
The objective of the call is to make a decision whether you wish to pursue any of the means that you learn of. Some of the means have short deadlines. Some of the means have long deadlines.
Obviously, you can always go your own way. If you wish to have our help, however, we will require certain commitments from you in order to ensure that we are not wasting our time.
You may know of other means besides those which will be presented. We are only presenting means which we believe will be effective with a minimal amount of your resources expended.
